Two people with the same Mediterranean blood, born on opposite sides of the world. He grew up on a Sicilian coast. She grew up on a Californian one — both warmed by the same kind of sun. This is how they finally found each other.

2022 — A New Beginning
Luca packed one suitcase and left Sicily for a city he'd only seen in photos. San Diego was louder, brighter, wider than anything back home. He met Sophia his very first day there — half Sicilian, half Greek, and unmistakably herself. But the timing wasn't right. Not yet.

March 2025 — The Beginning
It was supposed to be a quick coffee. Catch up, go home, nothing more. But then Sophia smiled, and came that laugh, and somewhere between the first sip and the last, Luca understood. The same roots — Sicilian blood, Greek spirit. The same values. The same way of seeing the world. Nearly three years in the same city, and it took one coffee to change everything.

July 2, 2025 — The Question
The sun was sinking into the Pacific, turning the sky the color of peaches and wine. They walked to their spot in Ocean Beach, like any other evening. Sophia didn't see it coming. Luca knelt in the sand, asked the question, and she said yes before the next wave could break. She calls them otters now — two hands that hold on so they don't drift apart.

October 30, 2026 — The Future
A Sicilian boy and a Sicilian-Greek girl, saying yes in a Tuscan vineyard in California. Europa Village feels like home — travertine stone, iron chandeliers, vines along the terraces. In late October, the hills turn gold and the vineyards blush red. On that one evening, everyone they love will be there, under one warm Tuscan sky.

One of us crossed an ocean. The other was already home. We met over coffee, said yes at sunset, and now we're choosing forever. We'd love for you to be there when we do.
